Underside Coating

We provide Lanoguard rust protection application. Lanoguard is a lanolin and natural based product which has an affinity for ferrous metals and will bond to the metal underneath any surface rust. It acts as a barrier by hermetically sealing to the surface keeping oxygen and water out - stopping any rust from developing further. A particular thing that sets Lanoguard apart is that because it is non-perishing and non-leaching it can be applied easily in areas of multiple surface types where you find metal, nylon, rubber, vinyl and plastic all in one place, making it perfect for the underside of horseboxes which have a variety of materials together.

Application process:

• A simple jet wash to remove dirt, grime, mud, loose paint or underseal, flakey rust is all the preparation required before application. This is a MASSIVE advantage of- lanoguard over tradional underseals which require very time consuming, laborious surface preparation.

• Lanoguard is a liquid product that is sprayed onto the underside surfaces and not just the visable surfaces, being liquid lanogaurd can be applied to the inside of box sections using a flexible spray wand

• Next we apply lanogaurd grease onto components that we find need the highest level of protection.

• We then allow to dry overnight and make a second pass ensuring complete coverage before returing your vehicle.

Once applied the laonguard will take 7-10 days to reach its final state. It dries to a clear / transparent semi satin wet look and stays that way for some months eventually dulling a little.
